I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two-time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
